Residential Service

Welcome to the home of Filters-To-Your-Door. Our company was born from our sister company who does air duct cleaning. Customers were asking what they could do to improve their air quality in their home. Many had not been properly maintaining their HVAC system which led to their spending several hundred dollars cleaning air ducts. In addition, many had been through the agony of a blower failure costing upwards of $600 to replace. In those cases, the story was always the same. They either never changed the air filter, or change it only occasionally because they never remembered the size when they saw filters on display at their big box store. We’re here to solve that problem.

We start by offering a high quality efficient filter from a name you can trust – DuPont. These filters have combined benefits not found in any other filter on the market such as Microban® antimicrobial product protection, and Oguard™ Odor Reduction Technology. To keep it simple, we offer only their two top models – Gold 11000 and Platinum 12000. Both are effective at trapping pollen, pet dander, odors, mold spores and smoke particles. The Platinum 12000 also traps fungus and ragweed and the latter is the choice for sensitive allergy sufferers.

Since these filters are so efficient at removing particles from the air, they must be changed at least quarterly or more often under certain circumstances. Once these filters are saturated, it becomes difficult for your heating and cooling system to pull air through, increasing the amperage draw of the blower and increasing your electric bill. In addition, because air moves slower than normal through a dirty filter, your system runs longer to cool or heat the house. So, you get a double whammy – more energy is needed for a longer period time to do the same job as a system with a clean filter.

Our service includes delivering a new filter to your house quarterly or more often if you prefer. A filter at your door step serves as your reminder that it’s time for a filter change.
